Privacy starts with asking for less.

Public guides

You can read the guide without an account.

We do not ask for a diagnosis, disability profile or precise location. No analytics, advertising or marketing trackers are installed in this application.

Data in your browser

Reading preferences, demo drafts and local review records (representative name and date) are stored in your browser, separated by language.

Uploaded demo photographs are stored in browser IndexedDB and are not sent to the server. Reset restores the draft; clear this site’s browser data to remove stored media and review records.

Contact enquiries

The contact form prepares text to copy.

It does not send, persist or log the enquiry in the application. Only enter information you want to share when you send it through your existing contact.

Hosting and the next phase

The hosting provider may process technical request data such as IP addresses and logs.

Before real accounts or a pilot launch, the project owner must identify the data controller, provide a contact address, define retention periods and review processor agreements. This notice is a development draft.

Organisation verification documents

Mandate documents are stored privately in the dedicated NERUMA project.

They are available only to the confirmed applicant and the platform administrators reviewing the request; they are never included in public guides. Upload only information needed to establish your authority. Submitted evidence and review records are retained for the verification history; a defined retention period and deletion-request process must be agreed before the public pilot.

What is stored on your device

No analytics, advertising or tracking cookies are used.

These are the only things the site stores on your device. Each one is strictly necessary for something you asked for, which is why no cookie banner is shown. Nothing here is read by third parties.

  • Sign-in cookies (names start with “sb-” and end with “-auth-token”). Set only when an organisation signs in. They keep you signed in and are removed when you sign out; otherwise they expire after at most 400 days.
  • “neruma_device” cookie. Set only if an organisation owner or admin ticks “Remember this device for 30 days” after entering the two-factor code. It holds a random token that lets this browser skip the code for 30 days. The server stores only a scrambled copy of the token, and no device name, browser details or IP address. Forget it on your account page, or by deleting the cookie.
  • “neruma_reset” cookie. Set only for the few minutes after you press the button in a password-reset email, so the page where you choose the new password can tell that you came from that link. It holds no personal data, is removed when you save the new password and expires after 15 minutes.
  • Reading settings (“vianorae:reading:v1” in your browser’s local storage): theme, text size, spacing and accent colour you chose. They stay on your device until you clear this site’s data.
  • Workspace sidebar (“neruma:sidebar-collapsed”): whether you collapsed the sidebar.
  • Demo workspace (“neruma:demo:v1:…” in local storage, and the “vianorae-demo-media-v1” browser database): the demo locations and photos you add. They never leave your browser. “Reset demo” removes them.

Deleting your account

You can delete your organisation account from your account page, or ask us to.

You confirm it with your password (and your two-factor code), and you receive a copy of all your data first. The account is locked at once and deleted completely 30 days later; until then we can restore it if you change your mind. Problem reports you sent stay, without your name or email. If you were the only owner of an organisation, it is hidden for 30 days, in case a colleague takes it over, and then deleted; its QR codes keep saying the guide isn’t available.
